Our stay in the Gloucester Suite was fantastic, with a super comfy bed and spacious bathroom. The care in the breakfast was outstanding, each bite was a delight, and the hosts were incredibly warm and welcoming, making us feel right at home.
No real downsides, just wish we could have stayed longer.

A delightful stay with lovely hosts and a splendid Churchill Suite that offered much comfort and charm. Breakfast was delicious, and there were nice touches like complimentary water. having dinner on-site would have been better than ordering in from Stranraer. a great experience.

The spacious Superior Double Room featured thoughtful amenities such as a coffee machine and complimentary snacks, enhancing the overall comfort. A warm welcome set the tone for an enjoyable stay, complemented by its proximity to the ferry port, making it convenient for travelers. Attention to detail is evident throughout the premises, though maintaining the pristine condition could be a challenge during busier seasons.

The Churchill Suite delivers on comfort with a separate sitting area featuring a huge TV and cozy sofas. The bathroom impresses with its cleanliness, well-stocked amenities, and fluffy towels—a solid touch for any traveler.
The exterior of the building appears a little tired, which might mislead you about the quality inside. Parking can pose a challenge if you have a larger vehicle, as the facility caters more to standard cars. While the noise from the busy road is noticeable, the double glazing helps minimize disturbances, but you might still want to consider a room away from the front if you're a light sleeper. Breakfast timing could leave those catching early ferries in a pinch if they miss the main service—there's limited flexibility here.

Had an awesome group trip! We visited the stunning Castle of Stranraer and enjoyed a fun day at the nearby beach. Loved the comfy rooms and tasty breakfast. Great touch having fresh milk for tea! Definitely recommend staying here with friends.
The only downside was that I wished we had more time to explore the area. One night just wasn't enough to see everything.

Convenient stay before the ferry!
We chose this spot for its closeness to the ferry, and wow, did it deliver! The staff was super friendly, and we scored a free upgrade to the Churchill Suite, which was HUGE and comfy. Brekkie was legit tasty with lots of choices. Just wish the shower was a bit bigger. it was snug for us!
